Tournament mode

A group phase (round robin) is played first, followed by a knockout phase

All places are played off in the knockout phase. Depending on the number of participants and the group sizes, there will either be semi-finals and finals with cross matches or the winner will play in the final. 1st of group A against the 1st of group B, the 2nd of group A against the 2nd in Group B, etc.

Game mode

In the group stage, each match is played on 2 won match tiebreaks (up to 10 points, 2 points difference)

In the KO phase, 2 short sets are played (up to 4 games), in the event of a 1:1 in sets, a match tiebreak is played.

Disclaimer: The tournament mode may still be adapted to the number of participants. Requests and feedback from the respective trainers can also be taken into account.

RUGBY CLINICS with South African coach

A special treat awaits our rugby teams: workshops and training sessions with Richard De Jager and other specialist 7s coaches from South Africa and Europe will take place during and between matches.

He will support both the athletes and the coaches during the tournament with tips and professional know-how to help them further develop their skills.

The UWG 3on3 tournament is played with 3 field players and 1 goalkeeper in each third on 2 goals. The players wear full equipment. Body play and shots are not permitted. A team consists of max. 9 players plus max. 2 goalkeepers
